Gabriel project

Gabriel project

Location: Nevada, USA

Project Overview

Tearlach Resources, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Pan Am Lithium (Nevada) Corp., is exploring the Gabriel Property under an option agreement with Black Rock Silver (BRS).  The Gabriel property consists of approximately 3920 acres of unpatented mining claims (196 lode claims).  The Property is located approximately three (3) miles north of the town of Tonopah, Nevada.  Access is good to, and throughout, the property on one (1) paved, one (1) well-maintained gravel, and two (2) four-wheel drive roads.  The property may be explored year-round.

Property Geology

The Black Rock Silver (BRS) historic drilling intersected claystone intervals within the Miocene Siebert Formation that are lithium-mineralized, most likely in the in the form of lithium-bearing clays similar to other lithium deposits in the district.  The Siebert Formation is composed of mostly tuffaceous, pelitic, calcareous, and locally dolomitic lacustrine sediments.  The bulk of the lithium mineralization is stratiform/stratabound in nature and is initially interpreted to be present in two (2) discrete claystone horizons.

Northerly-trending faults are interpreted to be present in the basin in which the claystone deposits of the Tonopah area occur. The faulting, which post-dates lithium mineralization deposition, seems to down-drop the stratigraphy west-ward.  The authors of the American Lithium TLC property Technical Report have identified four significant high-angle, normal displacement faults, of which at least two (2) are thought to extend south into the Gabriel property.

2023 Drill Program

The Gabriel Property is highly prospective over an area of 7.5 square kilometers.  Tearlach announced, on February 21st, that a 19 core-hole exploration program had been initiated.  The drilling objectives of this Phase 1 program are twofold:  1) twin BRS lithium-mineralized holes to provide mineral for metallurgical testing, and 2) explore other prospective areas of the property.  An update, released on March 6th, reported drilling progress, and that all holes had intersected claystone stratigraphy.
